Anthony Bourdain in Africa:
A Complete List

Though he didn’t visit much until later in his career, Africa was a continent that captured Anthony Bourdain’s imagination long before his first episode there. Below you’ll find a list of the African countries that Tony visited. I’m working to complete all of these countries in 2023, so if you see ‘Coming Soon’ on a country you plan to visit, check back soon!

Don’t see a country listed above? It means that Bourdain never visited (or at least never released an episode about) that country. Here is a list of the African countries that Tony never visited: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, DR Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Estawini, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Niger, Rwanda,Sao Tome & Principe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

If you think my list has an error, please let me know in the comments below.
