Anthony Bourdain in Asia:
A Complete List

Based on his love of many countries in the region, it should come as little surprise that Anthony Bourdain visited Asia many times during his television career. Below you’ll find a list of the Asian countries that Tony visited. I’m working to complete all of these countries in 2023, so if you see ‘Coming Soon’ on a country you plan to visit, check back soon!

Korea Card

Note: I will not be publishing any guides to travel in Russia until the invasion of Ukraine ends.

Don’t see a country listed above? It means that Bourdain never visited (or at least never released an episode about) that country. Here is a list of the Asian countries that Tony never visited: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cyprus, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Syria, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, and Yemen.
