Stay Like Bourdain: 26 Hotels Where Anthony Bourdain Stayed

Though it’s been a few years since the world lost the talent and personality of Anthony Bourdain, it’s safe to say that his legacy is still going strong. Travelers are inspired to visit the places he ate, try the dishes he sampled, and view the world with his open-minded and open-hearted approach. After all, this whole site is dedicated to parts of that legacy!

I sometimes get questions about other businesses Anthony Bourdain supported, such as shops and hotels. Through watching literally every episode of Bourdain’s four main shows, I was mostly focused on the restaurants he visited and the foods he ate. I noted other interesting details too though, including some of those hotels where Anthony Bourdain stayed – most of the ones on this list come from Parts Unknown where they were explicitly named or credited.

Hotels Where Anthony Bourdain Stayed Hero

This list obviously isn’t exhaustive as he visited hundreds of hotels throughout his career. Other articles on this subject mention hotels aren’t on this list, claiming they are Anthony Bourdain’s “favorite” hotels based on a now-defunct app; I can’t verify that he stayed in some of those (though they were featured on-screen), so I didn’t include them.

Ready to dive into the list and see which hotel(s) you might be able to stay at too?

Rather than covering each hotel in great detail, I thought it made the most sense to just list them here. You can click each hotel name to learn more about it and view reviews, pricing, and availability; clicking the location link will take you to the guide on this site to all the restaurants where Tony ate in that destination, and to see exactly which show and episode mentions that property.
