Parts Unknown

Arguably Anthony Bourdain’s best show, Parts Unknown was also his most prolific show, spanning 12 seasons from 2013 until Bourdain’s death in 2018. Yes, you read that right – 12 seasons in six years, meaning he and his team produced 2 seasons per year!

Parts Unknown covers the entire world, from those lesser-known places after which the show is named to lesser-understood destinations, and places Tony had never traveled and wanted to cover. The show won twelve Primetime Emmy Awards and one Peabody Award, and is still the best way to glimpse into Tony’s frame of mind on his journeys around the globe.

Here’s a list of all episodes of Parts Unknown across its 12 seasons (in two tables). Any links will take you to the specific guide to the places Bourdain ate in that destination. This page is regularly updated as new posts are published about these episodes/destinations.

    Hi Valerie,

I came across your site while searching for a great place to eat in Anchorage Alaska. I guess Tony never did a show there.

“Eat like Bourdain” is a real labour of love and a wonderful tribute to Tony’s enduring legacy. I’m sure his many fans, like myself, appreciate your hard work.

    Take care and happy travels.

Thanks for your kind words, Heather! You’re right – Tony never produced any content from Alaska. He might have visited, but there are no episodes from there, unfortunately!
